- Bonjour messieurs. Vous avez déjà les premiers cartons, c’est bien. Vous pouvez poser ceux-ci où vous voulez. Le grand lit ira dans la plus grande chambre, ici. Ce petit lit ira dans la chambre rose, où j’ai déjà posé des poupées. Ah, le four et les plaques de cuisson, je vous laisse deviner. Ces étagères vont dans la salle de bain et ces cartons légers aussi. Ces cartons-là, à l’inverse sont très lourds, ils sont remplis de livres. Ils vont dans le salon. Si vous aviez besoin d’une pause, il ne faudrait pas hésiter à vous arrêter cinq minutes même si je n’ai pas eu le temps de mettre de la bière au frais.

Où is the French word for where.
It can be an interrogative adverb or a relative pronoun, depending on the sentences.
As a relative pronoun, où can be used alone or just after a preposition.
Vous pouvez poser ceux-ci où vous voulez.
Ce petit lit ira dans la chambre rose, où j’ai déjà posé des poupées.
 
Sinon les déménageurs nous auraient demandé encore plus cher.
Auraient demandé is a new form of the conditional mood : the past conditional which is used to express events that could have occurred but did not.
It is really easy to form : you take the auxiliary être or avoir, you conjugate it at the present conditional mood, then you add the past participle of the main verb.

The past conditional is often used in si clauses to express impossible facts, to express situations that did not occurr because of an unmet condition in the past.
Si nous avions habité au sixième étage,
ils nous auraient demandé plus cher.
 
If we had lived on the 7th floor,
They would have asked us more money.
